Job Description :

Working with the department manager, the RN Charge Nurse provides leadership and clinical expertise on their respective shift and department. They coordinate unit resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels based on the unique needs of patients on the unit, both clinically and financially. They function as clinical support for staff and are a role model of competency and professionalism.

The Emergency Department is a 33-bed unit with 3 Trauma Bays. We are a Level 2 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Our typical nurse to patient ratio is 4 : 1. We are a busy Emergency Department that treats high acuity patients positioned between two Level 1 Trauma Centers (located in Utah and Denver). Our Emergency Department prides itself on having that family atmosphere. We foster a welcoming supportive culture that emphasizes a collaborative team approach to deliver top quality care alongside our Emergency Department Physicians and APP’s. The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$40.39 - $60.96
