What part would you play in this role?As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine and basic front and back-office duties.

These duties will include answering phones, data entry, assisting in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs and recording information on patients charts, drawing and collecting blood samples and / or urine samples from patients, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducting a variety of diagnostic tests.

More details are availablehere.Typical Day : Initial training is 3 weeks longPosition is located ONSITE at our clinic in North Bergen, NJ (address : 8901 Kennedy Blvd Ste 300, North Bergen, NJ 07047) with regular travel to sister clinics within 75 miles (mileage compensated for all travel).

Rotating shifts are between Mon Fri 7am 8pm EST with intermittent weekends between 7am 4pm EST.You must have : Graduate from a medical assistant school and / or graduation from an accredited vocational Medical Assistant program, and / or military equivalent.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.0-10 years of medical assistant experience.Medical Assistant certification required for level 4 and level 5.

Experience in Occupational Medicine clinic, General Medical, Internal Medicine work environmentpreferred.CPR / BLScertification required.

Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry.A medical clearance that consists of passing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis / TB test and receive a Hepatitis A / B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A / B Titer test.

Exceptional customer service skills that will enhance the interaction with the providers, operational teams and clientsMust be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to demonstrate an understanding of applicable policies and procedures.The ability to maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
