Job Description

Position Overview :

This positions serves LEONI’s North American Development Department with design expertise to create and maintain E / E schematics in LEONI and customer’s systems.  The candidate should possess the capabilities to independently process E / E systems designs and to represent LEONI in front of our customers.  This position reports directly to our Head of Harness Design in Troy, Michigan.

Job Profile Description

  • Import electrical device and subsystem information and process into schematics (hrn / cmp / csv files)
  • Determine inline and splice positioning
  • Create inline listings and pin-out
  • Perform resistance checks to meet system requirements
  • Create system level DVP&R
  • Assist in wire harness troubleshooting for the full vehicle
  • Assist in the performance of relevant engineering tools e.g. DFMEA, Design Reviews
  • Support all customer meetings and request

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive )
  • 3 years’ experience in in executing full vehicle systems engineering projects (Stellantis )
  • Experience in Capital Logic / Integrator or equivalent schematics design tool
  • Proficient English speaking and writing skills
  • Good team work and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Candidate needs to be authorized to work in US
