Job description

Primary Skills : LAN / WAN, Cisco, Firewall, DataCenter, Routers / Switches

Contract Type : W2 Only

Duration : 6+ months contract with possible extension

Location :  Vernon Hills, IL (Remote)

Pay Range : $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Operate within standard procedures and react to client outages
  • Troubleshoot and provide problem determination and resolution
  • Own incidents until resolved, engaging other engineers as necessary
  • Establish work priorities based on guidelines and review work for accuracy
  • Mentor other engineers and create / edit training manuals and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in planning, deploying, and supporting advanced technologies
  • Passion for technology and strong technical aptitude
  • Working knowledge in a variety of hardware and network technologies
  • Hands-on experience in large enterprise or data center environments
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
