This internship offers undergraduate criminology students hands-on experience within a correctional environment, focusing on substance use disorder (SUD) group facilitation. Interns will gain insight into rehabilitation practices, behavioral health interventions, and the criminal justice system's role in treatment during incarceration. Interns will observe and assist in evidence-based group sessions, support administrative tasks, and engage in case management practices, preparing them for careers in corrections, rehabilitation, or behavioral health.
