Security Officer - Access Control - Full Time

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order at the location.Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with established protocols.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client instructions.Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns.Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to clients, employees, and visitors.What We're Looking For :

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
