Senior Rehabilitation Aide
As a Senior Rehabilitation Aide you will bring your experience and passion for health care to our rehab team! The position provides assistance to our Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist with patient care treatment. You will work in all areas of the hospital including Med-Surg, Ortho, ED, Observation, Trauma, and ICU.
The shift varies. There is weekend coverage required. The schedule could be 4 10-hour shifts, and the preferred schedule is 5 8-hour shifts preferred working 7am-5 : 30pm with 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm as an option.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing assistance with patient care treatment under the supervision of the therapist, in accordance with physician referral, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures. This position demonstrates advanced clinical competence and knowledge necessary to assist with treatment appropriate to the age of the patients served.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma / GED or equivalent working knowledge. Certification may be required in specific areas or preferred in all other areas. BLS certification required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to follow established policies and treatment procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of a Therapy Technician Program or other comparable education program Additional related education and / or experience preferred.
