Position Summary
California Baptist University, an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention, invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in Biology beginning August 2026.
The appointment includes teaching both undergraduate and graduate Biology courses (for both science and non-science majors). Other duties include recruiting and advising undergraduate students in the Biological Sciences, engaging with undergraduate and master’s students in original research, participation in departmental program assessment, and participation in other service to the University and department. Pay Range The compensation for this appointment will range from $78,000 – $85,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions.
