Job Summary : The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
You are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Responsibilities :
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (personal hygiene, feeding etc.)
- Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight.
- Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.
- Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
What will you bring to the job?
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
- Long term care experience preferred, not required.
- Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and / or move up to 25-50 pounds.
