Aureon Consulting has in immediate need for a Technical Support Specialist with 1-3 years of experience. Role involves in office support 5 days a week, Monday through Friday 8 to 5. Responding to and diagnosing problems through discussions with users. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution steps.
Responsibilities
- Provide phone / email support to employees with strong troubleshooting abilities around personal computing platforms, hardware, software, mobile devices, virtual environments (Citrix).
- Ability to show strong customer service skills, avoiding technical jargon to describe / troubleshoot issues, providing follow up on incidents.
- Knowledge of common helpdesk practices, documenting incidents fully as not to cause additional work by support staff.
- Ability to manage their work, escalating when needed to appropriate teams or leadership.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships.
- Research issues escalated from tier I within established timeframes.
- Set up new clients and users on basic systems.
- Ensure actions follow industry rules and regulations and security guidelines.
- Communicates information to clients regarding escalated issues.
- Review outstanding inquiries or requests to ensure quality standards are met.
- Respond to incoming calls and process support tickets and emails.
Required Skills
Minimum of an Associate's degree in a technology related field with 1-3 years of experience.Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, resourceful, and innovative.Ability to learn quickly and manage priorities in a fast-paced development environment.Go-getter attitude.Ability to work as part of a large, culturally diverse group, as well as independently.Seniority level
