Occupational Therapist (Full-Time & Per Diem)

Location : Page Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center – Fort Myers, FL

Department : In-House Subacute Rehabilitation

Reports To : Director of Rehabilitation

Page Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Fort Myers, FL. Our in-house subacute rehabilitation team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to help individuals recover from illness, injury, or surgery and regain independence.

We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our dynamic in-house rehab team. Positions are available for both Full-Time and Per Diem schedules.

Position Summary :

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities and achieve optimal functional outcomes. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to ensure comprehensive, interdisciplinary care in a subacute rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and limitations to develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans.

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services tailored to individual patient goals.

Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and adaptive techniques to support independence.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Participate in team meetings, care planning, and discharge planning as needed.

Adhere to all state, federal, and facility policies, including HIPAA and infection control.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Experience in a skilled nursing facility or subacute rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Schedule & Compensation :
