Description

Summary

Aviation Trainee Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and / or overhauls, and tests aircraft components to include the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work involves : disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts by the repair station manual.
  • Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions.
  • Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation.
  • Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals.
  • Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed.
  • Provides other duties as needed and assigned.
  • Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 : 2016 Standards.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.?
  • Minimum four years actual and recent experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul, testing of hydraulic.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups.?
  • Technical Skills :

  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers.
  • Must be able to read dials / gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
  • Language Skills

  • Fluent in English
  • Foreign Language skills desirable
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.?
