Opportunity : MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Schedule : Friday through Sunday
  • Minimum 1 year experience required
  • First time travelers accepted if they meet minimum experience requirements
  • Previous charge experience required
  • Required certifications : ARMRIT or ARRT MR, BLS
  • EPIC experience required
  • PACS and Siemens experience required
  • Must be proficient in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ED trauma procedures
  • Pediatric acute care experience preferred
  • Must perform abdomen, abdominal MRA, female pelvis, MRCP, male pelvis procedures
  • Chest imaging required
  • Brain, cranial nerves, face soft tissue neck, head MRA, head MRV, and orbits imaging required
  • Extremity imaging including foot, hand, hip bony pelvis, lower extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, and upper extremity long bones
  • Must handle isolation precautions, contrast media preparation / administration, and starting peripheral IVs
  • Gradient echo imaging, MIP, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images required
  • Spinal imaging including cervical, lumbar, sacrum coccyx, spinal trauma, thoracic, and thoracic MRA
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Subject to float to any facility campus if needed
  • Must pass EKG exam during compliance with 2 attempts allowed
  • Complete 2-4 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
