Job Responsibilities
The Service Technician is to provide support through the Service Department and the customers we assist with their low voltage issues. This Service Technician's primary responsibilities would be to directly support Collier County Schools (CCPS). Tasks to include Service and some installation of conduit, wire, and devices for the District CCTV systems, mainly focusing video surveillance equipment and School Safety. This individual must be highly motivated, and task oriented to see tasks through to completion. They must be a team player and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
The Service Technician is responsible for customer coordination in the field and repair of all systems as directed by CCPS. They shall work with the Service Coordinator and CCPS Safety Manager to help schedule onsite resources, and ensure equipment and materials are correct and onsite when needed. The Service Technician must also communicate well with internal and external customers. The Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and / or the CCPS Safety Manager, as directed. The Technician also works closely with the CCPS CCTV Manager and staff.

$28-$30 hr. depending on skills and experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
