Allied Universal is now hiring for a full-time Security Officer. Site : MidAmerican Energy Center in Council Bluffs, IA. Job Details : Pay Rate : $16.00 / hour. Schedule : Mixed Shift Available / Evenings and Overnights. Duties : You will maintain the facility's security by checking in visitors, vendors, and contractors. This includes issuing access badges and performing regular foot / mobile patrols throughout the property. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and security. Experience : Prior security experience preferred, but not required, or customer service background. Skills : Comfortable using technology devices and must have a valid drivers license. Physical Requirements : Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, and work in all weather elements.

Responsibilities : Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
