Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults only Patient Volume / Census : Variable; 56 weekday calls / night; 810 follow-ups + 10 consults on weekends Admissions : 1 average admission while on call Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : 100% Cardiology No. of Beds in Department : 458 Trauma Level : Level II EMR System : Epic / Cerner Office Equipment Available : Multiple diagnostic systems (5 total) Specialty Backup Available : APP support 8a5p Support Staff Available : RNs, APPs Reason for Coverage : Candidate on leave Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes (temps / emergency 30 days) Credentialing Timeline : 60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Lodging : Up to $175 / night (preferred hotel list available) Rental Car : $75 / day (AprNov); $100 / day for 4WD SUV (DecMar) Airfare : Economy seating with 1 checked bag; mileage reimbursed at IRS rates REQUIRED PROCEDURES Coverage of hospital duties including diagnostic reads, consultations, and clinic appointments Not expected to perform EKG, Echo, or Stress Tests, but may do so if they wish Licenses : Active Pennsylvania license required Board : Board Certified in Cardiology DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : A
