Assembler
Overview
Under direct supervision, using standard processes and continuous improvements, the assembler assembles couplings in a timely an efficient manner that meet the quality standards to ensure the delivery of world-class products to Tyler Coupling customers.
All Team Members will be trained on various manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assembler : Entry level up to 1 year experience and assemble at least a minimum of 160 couplings per hour.
- Ability to meet or exceed minimum production rate.
- Requires good manual dexterity.
- Able to work on a stationary assembly line.
- Must have ability to work at a Conveyor Belt and / or Conveyor Rollers.
- Must verify the quality of work and cross train on all machines as Team Members will be rotated on a daily basis.
- Use Shear Cutters to remove eyelet.
- Responsible for production, quality of product and documentation of daily production numbers.
- Follow supervisor instructions at all times.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Six months of related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to sit or stand for periods of 8 plus hours a day.
- Repetitive grasping and gripping with hands.
- Regulary required to bend, lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
