Overview :
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support our logistics team. The Logistics Assistant will play a key role in assisting with the coordination and execution of the movement of goods and materials. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and interested in gaining experience in the logistics field.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Logistics Coordinator in planning, coordinating, and executing the movement of goods and materials.
Help manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and other logistics service providers.
Support the monitoring and maintenance of delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Assist in collaborating with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders for efficient logistics operations.
Help track inventory levels and assist in ensuring sufficient supply to meet customer demands.
Aid in communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve any logistical issues.
Can consistently follow up with 3rd party vendors for tracking.
Assist in managing logistics costs, including storage, transportation, and handling.
Perform administrative tasks related to logistics operations, such as documentation and record keeping.
Qualifications :
Basic understanding of logistics and transportation processes and regulations.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive).
Willingness to learn new logistics software and tools.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work hours as needed.

Range : $55,000 - $65,000 (USD)
