What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the retail environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the business premises and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

Monitor for unusual activity and report situations that require further attention or intervention to management and / or law enforcement, as appropriate.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or other security-related matters encountered during patrols.

Assist employees, visitors, and shoppers at the location by providing information, directions, and general support as needed.

Follow all company policies and procedures, including those specific to Allied Universal and the assigned location, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Must possess a Level III armed certification for Texas.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
