Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, fund accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with program and executive teams.
• Lead annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Support grant reporting and restricted fund tracking (for non-profits).
• Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights for strategic planning.
