Position Overview
The Office Manager is responsible for managing the companys finances while also supporting essential HR functions and day-to-day administrative tasks. This includes budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and light HR tasks such as onboarding, job postings, employee file maintenance, and policy organization. This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management :
Develop and manage budgets, cash flow projections, and financial reporting systemsAnalyze job cost performance, margins, and cost controlsOversee accounts payable / receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordinationPrepare accurate monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsSupport tax filings, insurance audits, and license renewalsProvide owners with actionable financial insights to support decision-makingHuman Resources
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processesPost job openings as needed (hiring is infrequent, but structured)Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and recordkeeping standardsSupport company culture through clear communication and team coordinationCoordinate benefits tracking (in collaboration with payroll provider, ADP)Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration3+ Years of experience in financial management or full-charge bookkeepingGeneral HR experience or exposure to onboarding, documentation, and complianceFamiliar with QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting best practicesDetail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
Experience in the roofing or construction industryFamiliar with HR compliance for small businesses in ArizonaBasic understanding of ADPTo Apply :
