Company Background :
The Company is a startup distillery in the State of Washington. Our products include Flavored Whiskey, Vodka, Whiskey, Bourbon, Single Malts, Gin, & Others.
Position Summary :
The Bar Tender is an integral member of the distillery team. This individual will assist the Tasting Room Manager in the day to day activities.
This individual should be flexible to changes in their responsibilities, hardworking with a can-do attitude, and consider themselves to be a team players.
The key responsibilities of this individual are to ensure an informative and friendly environment, maintaining a professional workspace, and assist in cocktail and menu development.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities :
- Exudes a positive and energetic attitude, able to talk to anyone
- Well spoken, polite and responsible
- Maintains a customer is always right mentality
- 1-2 years bartending or barista experience a plus
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment
- Able to stand and move around for long periods of time
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Ensure all items are entered into the POS system and complete sales transactions
- Perform all opening and closing tasks
- Maintain an exceptional clean environment for our guests
- Responsible for inventory management including swag, glassware, menu cards, etc.
- Pour and serve delicious cocktails
- Assist in cocktail and seasonal menus
- Assist in managing communication with Barrel Club members
- Basic knowledge of company products
- Attending, helping and participating at company events
- Ensure responsible serving practices
- Must have night and weekend availability
