Cal-Line Equipment, an Owen company, is looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician Mechanic to join our growing team. We specialize in vegetation management equipment, catering to the arborist industry and are the largest dealer in the world for Bandit Industries' market leading product line of woodchippers, stump grinders and whole-tree chippers. We have six locations across the Western U.S. including locations in California, Oregon, and Washington. In addition, we are a leader in promoting education within our industry, conducting seminars ranging from safety, operations and maintenance and bugs and disease.

Salary : $30.00 - $38.00 an hour depending on experience.

Benefits : Full Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, and 100% company paid Life and LTD. We have PTO that accrues weekly, seven paid holidays (eligible after 30 days from start), and 401(k) with company match.

Service Technician Mechanic Description

As a Service Technician Mechanic, you will be working on will be working on commercial woodchippers, stump grinders, mini skids steers, and large horizontal grinders.

• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns, diagnosis
• Test run and / or inspect vehicles and equipment for wear, damage, or specific problems that might affect performance.
• Utilize computer diagnostic equipment.
• Perform factory recommended preventative maintenance & inspection.
• Ensure guards and safety devices are functioning properly.
• Write clear parts requisitions and service write-ups.
• The individuals will maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous related duties as required and assigned by manager
