Title : Radiation Therapist

Location : Utica, NY

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour Days (Monday-Friday, approx. 08 : 00-16 : 00 with variable hours based on patient schedule)

Job Responsibilities & Required / Preferred Skills :

Deliver daily radiation therapy treatments according to established protocols.

Operate radiation therapy equipment, including Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE True Beam systems.

Assist with CT simulation using Siemens large bore CT.

Utilize ARIA EMR for treatment documentation and be familiar with EPIC workflows.

Collaborate with clinical and medical teams to ensure accurate patient setup, treatment delivery, and supportive care.

Maintain safety standards, verify patient identity, and uphold quality assurance procedures.

Support a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility based on patient volume and clinical needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Active New York Radiation Therapist license.

Experience treating patients on Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE TrueBeam systems.

Knowledge of Siemens CT large bore for simulation.

Proficiency with ARIA EMR; familiarity with EPIC preferred.

75-mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at local rate.

Preferred Skills (if applicable) : Prior travel or multi-system radiation oncology experience. Strong communication and teamwork abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
