Associate – Workplace Accommodations
Summary :
Responsible for managing and coordinating requests for workplace accommodations in compliance with federal, state, and local disability laws. Engages in the interactive process with employees and healthcare providers to determine appropriate and reasonable workplace adjustments that enable qualified individuals to perform essential job functions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive, evaluate, and prioritize accommodation requests.
- Review medical or supporting documentation to confirm qualifying disabilities and assess job-related limitations.
- Identify and implement effective reasonable accommodations or adjustments.
- Collaborate with employees, healthcare providers, HR, and management to ensure appropriate accommodations.
- Stay updated on disability laws and regulations and support audits or compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Strong communication and critical thinking skills.Ability to build cross-functional relationships.Preferred :
Experience with ADA and state disability accommodation laws.Knowledge of confidentiality and medical privacy practices.Certification in medical or ADA case management.Other Details :
Travel : 0–10%Onsite : 3 days / week (Indianapolis, IN)
