Job descriptionTrain and mentor junior CNC technicians and operators. Develop and implement hands-on training programs focusing on troubleshooting, setup, inspection, and general CNC best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence on the shop floor. Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings. Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision. Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, following all company and safety protocols. Minimum 15 years of hands-on CNC machining experience with mills and lathes. Proven ability to improve processes and deliver precision results in a production environment. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience mentoring or training junior staff. Proficient with G-code, conversational programming, and CAM systems (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.). Working knowledge of inspection tools and quality assurance procedures. Firearms industry experience or knowledge of firearm components is a strong plus. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Passionate about precision and craftsmanship. Leadership mindset with excellent communication skills. Commitment to quality and safety standards. Description :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist with expertise in both mill and lathe operations. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and mentoring junior machinists. A background in firearms manufacturing or knowledge of firearm components is a strong plus.

- Analyze and improve existing machining processes, setups, and programs for efficiency, repeatability, and superior quality.
- Reduce cycle times and increase throughput while maintaining tight tolerances and high standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and programming teams to enhance toolpaths, fixture design, and material handling.
