Top rated specialty group in Los Angeles, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant. Position is working all Back office in a Specialty Group of multiple providers.

Summary :

Position : Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant

Assist with front office to office management and staff

Hourly Pay Rate Range : $23-$24 p / hour (DOE)

Job Type : Full Time

Facility : Nephrology Group

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Days : Monday- Friday 8 : 30 a.m.-5pm

Bilingual, Spanish is a MUST!

Duties

• Rooming Patients
• Perform procedures such as drawing blood, injecting shots, and prepping clients for treatments.
• Medication, reconciliation
• Taking medical history from new patients, history for all new or follow-up,
• Some lab results retrieval when preparing the charts, scheduled patients for education classes
• Follow-up calls to schedule patients from no show f / up, some calls for following days some in person some tele-visit appointments, on a rotation schedule, not everyday
• Faxing notes to the doctors.

Position Requirements

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
