Emersons Test and Measurement Demand Planning Team is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Demand Planner (Level 4) to join our fast-paced multinational environment in Austin this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams across different business units playing a critical role in driving our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Key Responsibilities :

Drive the development and implementation of the Business Unit (BU) Demand Framework : Oversee the end-to-end process for capturing forecasting and prioritizing demand within the business unit ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and resource allocation strategies

Participate actively and effectively in the S&OP process ensuring alignment between demand supply and business strategy.

Provide detailed analysis and reports to support decision-making highlighting variances trends and forecast accuracy metrics.

Make informed decisions and recommendations based upon strong business acumen and insights including companys products customers and competitive landscape.

Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to harmonize demand planning practices.

Act as a key contact point for demand planning within the organization effectively communicating across teams and levels.

Support ad hoc projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Industrial Engineering Economics or related field. MBA or Masters preferred.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in demand planning supply chain or forecasting roles.

Demonstrated experience working with multiple business units in a matrix or complex organizational structure.

Proven track record of operating effectively in an S&OP-driven environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable plans.

Advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency with MS Office Suite and Power BI

Experience with Kinaxis Maestro or other advanced planning tools is a strong advantage.

Lean or Six Sigma is preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Detail-oriented organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
