Senior Accountant (CPA required)

Contract Type : Temporary (potential for extension during ERP implementation)

Overview :

We are seeking a Accountant with hands-on experience in SAP implementation and an active CPA license to support our client during a major ERP transition. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial operations while contributing to process redesign, testing, and integration activities throughout the SAP rollout.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with full adherence to GAAP.
• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries, accruals, and account analyses.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analyses.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support the SAP implementation, including functional testing, workflow validation, data reconciliation, and providing accounting insight.
• Document new processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls during and after system transition.
• Ensure smooth operation across legacy and new systems throughout the implementation period.
