Job Description
Lead the Flow of Goods, People, and Information
Picture your day starting with a quick floor walk to ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shipping / receiving area. You greet the team, align break and lunch schedules, and set expectations for the shift. Next, you review the queues, prioritize orders, and confirm routing for common carriers and local company trucks.
As in-bound freight arrives, you make sure it’s counted the same day and accurately received into the Eclipse system, with product locations updated immediately. You coordinate loading plans, oversee truck manifesting, and confirm each shipment meets the right packaging and shipping requirements—every order gets a peer check for accuracy before it leaves the dock.
Throughout the day you coach associates and drivers, model safe work practices, and reinforce a positive, productive culture. You tackle daily cycle counts to maintain tight inventory accuracy, process returns, and resolve freight claim discrepancies. You facilitate quick follow-up training, perform quality checks, and track site performance trends monthly and annually.
