Homeland Safety Systems, Inc . is a rapidly expanding and ever-changing company with a core focus in industrial and commercial security consulting, design, engineering, and installation of access control, CCTV, and communication equipment for high end, complex electronic security systems. We currently serve customers throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas.

The Bookkeeper at Homeland Safety Systems (HSS) plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This position works closely with the financial team to prepare timely financial reports, record daily transactions, and assist with vendor accounts. The Bookkeeper serves as a key position in supporting financial processes and assisting with any other assigned tasks.

In this role you will…

• Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, and revenue
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Prepare and process invoices and payments
• Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly closing processes
• Maintain organized financial records and support documentation
• Ensure data accuracy and follow accounting principles and company policies
• Support the finance team with administrative tasks as needed
• Assist with paperwork management and filing for company and technician licensing
