Our client, a leading game development studio, is urgently looking for a skilled Mid-Level Technical Artist. We need someone who can jump in immediately to create and implement stunning visual effects and destruction systems for a new, unannounced title.

This role is perfect for a proactive artist with a strong command of modern game development tools. You'll play a crucial part in enhancing gameplay and immersion by crafting high-quality, performant effects.

Location : Tustin, California

Job type : Permanent

Salary : $120,000 - 150,000 per year

Work hours : 8am to 5pm

Education : Bachelors

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and workflows to accelerate artist iteration and reduce integration overhead.
• Partner with engineers and artists to profile, debug, and optimize rendering, physics, and content pipelines across platforms.
• Establish best practices and provide technical guidance to the art teams.
• Architect and implement real-time VFX and simulation systems using Niagara, Chaos, and procedural pipelines.
