IT & Systems Coordinator

Sunflower Industrial is one of the nation’s largest self-performing commercial / industrial resinous and polished flooring installers, with three regional headquarters : Epoxy Coating Specialists (Midwest) out of Kansas City, Desco Floor Systems (Ohio Valley) out of Indianapolis, and Arizona Epoxy Systems (Southwest) out of Phoenix. The IT & Systems Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT needs across those three locations — from setting up new employee laptops to troubleshooting VPN issues — while working directly with and for our Director of Technology & Integration. This individual will be the first line of IT support for a specialty contractor with 100+ users spread across multiple locations. The right candidate will take ownership, follow through on tasks, and help establish structure and consistency as we scale.

Primary Responsibilities Include :

• Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Onboard and offboard employees in Microsoft 365, ERP, and other systems
• Install, update, and troubleshoot common business software
• Support VPN, Remote Desktop, and basic network connectivity issues
• Provide day-to-day IT support for 100+ users across multiple sites
• Work with IT vendors to coordinate support and equipment purchases
• Help maintain IT inventory, documentation, and process guides
• Explore and test AI and automation tools to improve workflows
