Attorney - Workers Compensation

Location : New York (3 Office Locations : Ridgewood, Bronx, Hempstead)

Position : Full-Time | In-Office

We are a high-performing, multi-office law firm focused on personal injury and workers' compensation. Our team is known for being aggressive in the courtroom, compassionate with our clients, and collaborative with each other. As we expand, we're looking for a Workers' Compensation Attorney who can hit the ground running and take charge of a strong, active case load.

The Role :

We are actively seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team immediately . This is a prime opportunity to manage your own caseload, lead support staff, and significantly grow your income with bonuses and performance-based incentives on top of a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities :

• Take full ownership of a Workers' Compensation caseload from intake through resolution.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, trials, and settlement conferences.
• Work closely with paralegals and medical staff to ensure client satisfaction and case movement.
• Stay current on Workers' Compensation law and regulatory changes in New York.
• Help grow the department's presence and success within the firm and the community.
• Strategize case development to maximize settlements and outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications :

• Licensed to practice in New York and in good standing.
• Minimum 1–2 years of Workers' Comp experience required.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
• Experience with NYS Workers' Compensation Board, eCase, and litigation procedures .
• Business development mindset is a major plus.

Pay : $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
