The following locations will also be considered : Syracuse, NY, Buffalo, NY, Boston, MA, New Haven, CT, and Newark, NJ.

Your Impact

• Effective leadership in a matrix organization.
• Serve as an EPC asset delivery manager on a large transmission development program, from the award of the EPC contract to the commissioning and in-service date.
• Perform selected project management duties for the duration of the project.
• Manage an EPC contractor for the duration of the project.
• Track and report the EPC contractor's progress.
• Track and report the EPC cost.
• Track and report the EPC schedule.
• Review risks and quality issues and provide recommendations to WSP and Client leadership.
• Coordinate the requirements with the Transmission Operators, owners of the remote substations.
• Manage the interfaces with other parts of the project, such as permitting, transmission lines, underground infrastructure group, procurement, geotechnical, properties, system studies, etc.
• Track and provide input to the schedule.
• Prepare and review cost estimates.
• Manage the responses to RFIs.
• Manage the review of the EPC engineering submittals.
• Manage the review of the major equipment submittals.
• Organize preparation of outage plans.
• Maintain regular communications with the client including reporting on monthly status, safety incidents, and major issues together with scope and budget impacts.
• Organize and chair regular meetings with the EPC contractor.
• Participate and respond to daily queries from the internal groups.
• Some regional travel is anticipated.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Compensation : Expected Salary (all locations) : $130,300 - $281,600

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
