Ruby Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Ruby Software Engineer to develop core lending software and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build customer-facing features for lending

Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure features are user-friendly and aligned with customer needs

Continuously improve engineering processes and coding best practices

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a customer-facing or product-driven environment

Proficiency in backend design and development, particularly with Ruby on Rails

Experience with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL

Prior fintech and / or lending experience is a plus but not required

Strong understanding of product engineering and its impact on end users
