Patient Services Associate

A typical day in the life of a Patient Services Associate will include the following responsibilities : Handles 2550 inbound calls / day related to re-enrollment and reverification. Outbound calls to providers / payers to verify benefits and gather missing intake information. Documents coverage details in Summary of Benefits (shared with patients / providers as needed). Updates case notes in Lynk system to reflect status and actions taken. Mix of patient and provider calls.

Skills : Customer service, health insurance, call center, medical terminology.

• High-Volume Experience Prior experience with heavy call loads or large-scale data.

Must Have : Medical terminology and basic understanding of insurance Call Center experience and strong Customer Service skills. Top candidates will have strong medical patient services experience. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or is a plus.

Experience Level : Intermediate Level

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
