The Opportunity
As a Segment Marketing Engineer, you will bridge the gap between product development and market strategy, translating complex engineering capabilities from multiple product lines into compelling value propositions for key applications and end markets. You'll play a critical role in shaping go-to-market strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams from the business units, sales, and marketing teams to drive design wins, grow market share, and position our products as industry leaders. What You Will Do
Market & Application Strategy
- Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities in target applications.
- Define and prioritize high-value applications where our solutions can deliver differentiation and customer value.
- Collaborate with product lines to develop application roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
Go-to-Market & Campaign Execution
Develop and execute integrated go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns focused on key applications and system solutions.Partner with global sales, distribution, and business unit teams to drive adoption and generate design-in opportunities.Support co-marketing initiatives with partners to showcase technology leadership and application success stories.Content Development & Technical Enablement
Create and manage compelling technical marketing content, including application notes, white papers, presentations, demo videos, and training materials.Collaborate with applications engineering and product marketing to translate technical performance into customer benefits.Support the development of digital and campaign content tailored to specific industries and customer segments.Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Act as a liaison between engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure consistent messaging and customer engagement.Partner with applications and field engineering teams to capture customer insights and translate them into actionable marketing intelligence that informs the product line roadmaps and improves our applications marketing collatera.Contribute to business planning, product positioning, and pricing strategy discussions.Performance Tracking & Optimization
Track key metrics related to campaign performance, design activity, and revenue impact.Provide data-driven insights to refine strategies and identify areas for improvement.Support quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with actionable recommendations.Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; a minor in Business, Marketing, or Management is a plus2-5 years of experience in applications engineering, product marketing, or technical marketing within the semiconductor or electronics industryStrong understanding of B2B technology marketing, including campaign execution and customer engagementProven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, market-ready messagingProficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platformsExcellent presentation, writing, and communication skills (comfortable interfacing with both technical and business audiences both internal and external to the organization)Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teamsWillingness to travel occasionally (10-20%) to engage with customers, partners, and regional teamsWhy Allegro?
