Project Manager

This role will support standard aircraft electric system development, as well as Propulsion Electrification programs and lab activities within the Electric Power Systems value stream. The System Integration Test Equipment team is looking for a Project Manager to develop project plans and budgets, pursue cost-saving opportunities to maximize project profitability, and monitor project performance.
What You Will Do
- Manage complex projects, working with a cross-functional team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Software engineers
- Create and maintain project schedules and budget forecasts for new aircraft electrical system development programs, as well as capital projects
- Identifies and reacts to project issues and recommends solutions
- Manage work packages and schedule with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Provide metrics and associated analysis to the program office for periodic Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting
- Work closely with the Section Manager to assign project priorities, assign engineering resources to projects, and assess risks.
- Lead weekly Project status reviews with team
- Provide project status reports to Senior Management, Program Management and Finance
- Primary focal point between Engineering Test Equipment and internal and external customers
