Other Details : The position involves providing vascular surgery care focused on inpatient post-operative daily rounds, consultations, and operative interventions as appropriate, with an average daily census of 5 to 10 adult patients with vascular disease. The schedule runs from Monday to Thursday, 5 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 00 a.m., with no block scheduling. Candidates must be board certified in cardiovascular surgery, hold or be eligible for a state medical license, and have a minimum of five years of experience with a clean background. Experience with the EPIC EMR system is preferred, and DEA certification is required. The privileging process typically takes 60 to 90 days, and vaccine requirements are pending.
