Job Description :
We are seeking candidates at the Director or Senior Director level with significant utility-scale development experience in California and / or Nevada.
The role entails managing a portfolio of development projects from inception to commissioning, with responsibilities ranging from land acquisition and permitting to project marketing and financing.
Key Responsibilities :
- the development and marketing efforts for a portfolio of renewable energy projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success, including resource assessment, legal, engineering, finance, and asset management.
- project budgets, forecasts, and contracts, while overseeing consultants and contractors as necessary.
- communication between internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
- and pursue opportunities for third-party funding and collaboration with external institutions and stakeholders.
- abreast of market trends and policy developments to capitalize on new opportunities and drive business growth.
Qualifications :
- degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or related Master's degree preferred.
- of 10 years of experience in energy-related project management, with at least 5 years of utility-scale development experience.
- negotiation, project financing, and contract management skills.
- to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- experience in both California and Nevada energy markets.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
The role requires travel to various office locations and project sites throughout the western US, with occasional site visits in variable weather conditions.
Approximately 60% of the time is spent in office environments, while the remaining time is dedicated to fieldwork and meetings.
Compensation :
This role offers an annual base salary range of $148,000 - $220,000, along with competitive bonus incentives and comprehensive health benefits.
