Assistant Store Manager - Full Time in Santa Monica and Culver City

You must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings until 10 : 30 p.m. and weekends.

Purpose : To ensure store security, prompt, friendly customer service, physical store maintenance, and smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure smooth operation of the store during business hours
• Provide support for front-line staff throughout the store during business hours
• Cover for missing employees when possible
• Ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain security of store during shifts
• Ensure the store is securely opened and closed following procedures
• Ensure the safety of staff and customers
• Monitor all staff and provide guidance and direction as required
• Coordinate staff breaks
• Facilitate customer, staff, and vendor transactions
• Ensure the store is clean and ordering during shifts
• Ensure spills and other hazardous conditions are resolved
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
• Provide feedback to department managers
