Responsibilities
- Proactively manage the CEOs complex and often evolving calendar by identifying and addressing scheduling conflicts, ensuring a balanced cadence to each day and week, allowing for buffer time to prepare for and debrief meetings; ensuring ad hoc meetings are properly prioritized against recurring ones
- Provide confidential support of email inbox - help to flag important / urgent messages, maintain and organize lower importance messages, and tee up drafts as necessary
- Complete all administrative work on behalf of the CEO, including : monthly expense reports; research and book complex travel itineraries; be on call to handle last-minute changes in travel and schedule as necessary
- Manage administrative processes related to the Board of Directors; support calendaring, logistics, and management for all board meetings and events; support board member relations and communications
- Support the CEO in all aspects of Client Relationship Management (CRM) including tracking of contacts, recurring meeting planning, and sitting in on meetings as necessary
- As part of the overall administrative team, provide back-up support for fellow administrative staff (e.g., staff reception occasionally, provide interim calendar management for executives); provide additional general support as needed (e.g., managing team-wide calendar of recurring management meetings and events, supporting office management, planning team-wide events and lunches, providing basic tech support)
- As appropriate identify additional area(s) of focus based on desired professional growth and organizational need (e.g., Knowledge Management, firm-wide Client Relationship Management, Office Management)
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience, at least 3+ years as an Executive Assistant to a CEO or another senior-level executiveBachelors degree OR equivalent experience providing direct support to an executiveExceptional attention to detail across all communications and deliverablesWillingness and eagerness to learn about and engage deeply with a complex business and extensive set of professional relationshipsExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams; familiarity with CRM systems a plusHighest commitment to ethics, integrity, and confidentiality proven experience holding confidential information for an executiveAbility to anticipate and proactively address the needs of othersDemonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; to work independently; to stay organized and poised under pressureFlexibility in the face of a fast-paced organization whose administrative support needs may change over timeFlexibility and willingness to be present in the Boston office on a regular and occasionally ad hoc basis, consistent with the expectations we set for all of our Administrative professionalsCommitment to enhancing a team culture of inclusion, belonging and equityExperience in or with the systems we seek to impact a plusBenefits

Social Finance uses a lockstep compensation model for purposes of equity and transparency - we strive for everyone coming in at a given level to be paid equitably. For this position, the starting base salary is $98,000, however, during the interview process, we will take into account a candidate's full work experience and may adjust the job title, and commensurate starting salary, as appropriate. At this level, employees typically receive a $2,500 salary increase annually and are eligible to participate in our firmwide annual bonus program. Bonuses are typically between 5-10%, though bonuses are not guaranteed and are dependent on both organizational and individual performance.
