Plant Maintenance Technician :

Summary
The Maintenance Technician works in a team environment on a variety of machines, work centers and production lines based on training, skills and experience.
The Maintenance Technician is supported by a crew of co-workers engaged in the production process and will ensure the smooth coordination of the team effort in reaching objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Maintain and repair a variety of machines and systems used in the production of corrugated paper boxes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work center that meets company 5S standards.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years experience in the maintenance and repair in one of or all of the following types of machines or similar is highly desired, but not required.
- Folder-Gluer
- Platen Diecutter
- Flexo Folder-Gluer
- Rotary Diecutter
- Highest level of detail, organization, and accuracy skills
- Must be disciplined, flexible results-oriented and decisive with a can do attitude
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with changing demands.
- Electrical troubleshooting of 3 phase motors and controls.
- Experience and knowledge working with PLC’s is highly desired.
- Understanding of and experience with basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Millwright mechanical and fabrication skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents : Operating Manual, Safety Guidelines, Procedure Manuals.
- Must have basic personal computer skills
Education
High school Diploma or GED.
Pay : $28.00 / hr to $35.00hr Depending on Experience and Skills
Shift : Monday - Friday Swing shift 2-11pm (with flexibility)
