The Role

FreshDirect is seeking an Industrial Engineer - Continuous Improvement to be the engine behind operational innovation in our Bronx headquarters. In this role, you'll turn data into action - analyzing complex systems, uncovering opportunities, and designing smarter processes that power everything from warehouse operations to transportation logistics.

What You'll Do

Data-Driven Process Optimization

• Use advanced data analytics, modeling techniques, and cost justification to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Develop scheduling algorithms and methodologies to optimize distribution schedules for maximum efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and validate data to quantify improvements in capacity, productivity, quality, and service.
• Apply a strong continuous improvement toolkit to design efficient, sustainable solutions.
