Job Location : Sterling, Virginia
Compensation : Competitive Base Salary $60,000 - $100,000 based on experience (negotiable)

Job Description
Our client is a trusted general contracting firm based in Northern, Virginia delivering high-quality commercial and residential construction services across the region. They specialize in interior build-outs, renovations, and tenant improvements, with a reputation for integrity, craftsmanship, and on-time project delivery.
The Interior Superintendent will oversee and manage all field operations related to interior construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who ensures projects are executed to company quality standards, delivered on schedule, and completed within budget. The Interior Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating subcontractors , maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring seamless communication between the field and the project management team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day field operations for interior construction and renovation projects
- Manage schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers , and field personnel to achieve quality project outcomes.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance with plans / specifications.
- Enforce and maintain safety standards in alignment with OSHA and Utica Contracting policies.
- Communicate proactively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Review and interpret construction documents, drawings , and specifications.
- Track project materials, deliveries , and inventory for timely execution.
- Ensure quality control across all aspects of the project, addressing deficiencies promptly.
- Maintain detailed daily logs and documentation of site activities.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in interior construction, renovations, or tenant improvements.Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, codes, and safety standards.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate subcontractors and crews.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Benefits
