Position Summary :

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects involving concrete, excavation, and utility work. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure bids are thorough and submitted on time. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in construction estimation and very strong communication and project management skills.

60,000 - $73,000 yearly

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during pre-construction and project handoff.
• Identify risks and opportunities in each bid.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and pricing tools.
• Track bid status and provide regular updates to management.
