Job Description
Serves as School Superintendent of the Ohio Central School System
Leads the design, development and implementation of all Academic, Career Technical, Apprenticeship programs
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and with education law including but not limited to IDEA, Title One, etc.
Ensures compliance with confidentiality rules as required by law
Ensures post-secondary educational opportunities are compliant with rules and laws
Onboard new post-secondary providers as needed
Provides leadership of instruction and educational practices for schools
Leads the development and maintenance of curriculum and testing for students
Determines the methods, devices, content and materials to be used in instruction
Provides documentation, data and reports for the department as needed.
Manages the assigned budget of the school district
Ensures federal and state monies are spent in accordance with the rules of the funding provider and the state of Ohio procurement rules
Lead operations requests for funding
Participates in the budget process
Unclassified Position pursuant to OAC 5120.382.

Qualifications
Must meet eligibility requirements for appropriate type of supervisory / administrative certification as required & issued by department of education; 42 mos. exp. in supervisory or administrative position in educational institution or system.
