The finance director will help guide Starbucks growth by providing world-class financial leadership to the business and across functions. The director will drive strategic cross-functional initiatives, setting vision, direction and strategy for the team and influence the business in achieving transformational imperatives through effective prioritization and forecasting. The successful candidate will work closely with executives and finance peers as a key advisor to the business, on delivering key performance indicators, capitalize on emerging opportunities, and reduce risk associated with changing business conditions. This leader will manage a high performing team and will be expected to develop partners for growth at Starbucks.

As a Director, Finance, You Will

Lead Establishes unified team vision and goals, develop organizational capabilities, and model how we work together :

• Understands, manages, and cultivates stakeholder and cross-functional relationships to drive effective collaboration and an understanding of broad business and enterprise impacts
• Inspires alignment through clear communication, collaborative engagement, and compelling storytelling that brings context and meaning to data.
• Prioritizes the workload of the team to ensure achievement of objectives, including identification and resolution of potential resource conflicts.
• Leads high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that align with enterprise priorities.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge / skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. We believe we do our best work when we're together, which is why we're onsite four days a week.
