Job Description : We are currently seeking a skilled School Occupational Therapist who will provide top-notch therapy services to students within local educational environments.
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a crucial role in fostering students' autonomy and enhancing their engagement in academic and everyday tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Perform assessments to gauge students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional capabilities.
- Develop and execute personalized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, visual perception, sensory integration, and self-care abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to integrate therapy objectives into the educational curriculum.
- Administer direct therapy services to students, encompassing both one-on-one and group sessions.
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expertise to support students' requirements.
Requirements :
- MA in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Occupational Therapy licensure in the State of Virginia.
